Test the limits and break through!

Each moment in our life is checking our free will because we want it or not but we have to take decisions considering them more or less important for us. All of them make our path and offer us conditions to grow in our professional and social aspects of personality. The statement I've recently read impressed me a lot and I feel it is exactly about me.

In my case, this time, I've tried myself in the teacher of the year competition. I became one of the laureates of the II (regional) round of the competition "Teacher of the Year - 2016" in the "English" category.

Was it a piece of cake for me?
I didn't set the goal to be the winner but I put my heart and soul into my work and kept the flag flying. These days with much dedication to the tasks brought me up in everything. Even in matters of beliefs. I didn't give up hope in God.

When we try to seem better than we really are we get the opposite effect. Be yourselves! I was convinced that if something I don't do properly, this time, it'll be the next time when I know how to do it better.  You are a star in your own way! You are unique and no one can replace you! So, it is worth taking risks when life gives you opportunities. The risk we might fail made us work twice as hard.

Even more, it had a beneficial impact on my family. During the competition, while I was preparing, were tested the relationships in our family. My children were getting more and more independent and my husband has been supporting me all the time. Moreover, I was challenging with neither having much time to control everything nor doing much housework. It taught my children to be more organized and to value mum's love more.

Many thanks to everyone who helped and supported me not only to my family but to my colleagues too! Words of encouragement I've received worked wonders and extremely increased my performances. All these made me want to try harder. I felt more confident.

It's time for me to encourage you, my dear reader. Don't have a lot on your mind and hesitate to do things when life is generous to you and offers you opportunities for your growth. Put aside your fear, test the limits and break through!

Use the phrases below in your micro-dialogues when saying thanks:

Many thanks...
I'm much obliged....
That is really nice of you...
Great...
Thank you ever so much for...
Thanks a lot...
Thanks a million for...
That is most good of you...
I should like to express my gratitude...
I really can't thank you enough...
I want you to know how much I value your support...
I would like to express my heartfelt thanks for giving me this opportunity...

Use the phrases below in your micro-dialogues when responding to thanks:

       No trouble at all.
       Don't mention this.
       It's a pleasure.
       Not at all.
       That's all right.
       That's OK.
       My pleasure.
       Anytime you are welcome.
       It was nothing at all.
I am glad I could help.

There is always , always, always something to be thankthul for

                                        Some people are always grumbling because roses have thorns;
I am thankful that thorns have roses. ~ Alphonse Karr

Each year January 11th is marked as International Thank You Day.

It's nice to have the sense of  gratitude all the time even when something goes wrong. The way we see today things may be absolutely different from our vision on things tomorrow. In our technology century, every event is speeded and sometimes we don't notice the kindness of others. Let us be less ignorant! Give yourself the chance to feel joy and happy. Keep the warm touch of kindness in your hearts and it may enlighten other people lives. Imagine only, these words THANK YOU may be a point of change in someone's whole life! It's worth to name them magic words. If you want it is an act of charity.
Let us be grateful to people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. ~ Marcel Proust
Let say it and live it. It isn't necessary only to repeat these words without feelings. Better say it not very often but from the bottom of your heart. In a short time, you'll have the bumper harvest ever. Take my word for it!
Give thanks to strangers, friends, family and, for sure, to God!
