10 Common Mistakes Parents Today Make (Me Included)
Today I want to share a post from HuffPost parents blog. It's a must be read article that I find useful for those parents who accept learning from other people's mistakes. If you aren't offended when someone else points out your mistakes then it's OK and here you are.
When I became a mom, I got lots of advice on how to love my child. But not until a few years ago did someone actually point out that loving a child means wanting what’s best for them long-term.
When my four daughters were young, long-term didn’t resonate with me. Back then it was about survival, meeting daily needs and keeping my head above water.
Now that my kids are maturing, however, the fog is lifting. I’m no longer a pledge of parenting, but rather an indoctrinated member. The perk of this stage is that my kids want to spend time with me. We have real conversations that reveal their beautiful personalities. With everyone sleeping through the night, I’m sleeping better, too. I can think coherently and be more intentional in how I raise them.
These days, I put more thought into long-term. I think about the kind of adults I hope my children will be and work backward to ask, “What can I do today to foster that?” ...

Summer Camp. Glass Door Day
Entertainment and much joy crowned the day when pupils did their best not to be shy and sing the songs they had chosen by themselves for the Talent Show. Some of them were eagerly interested in the preparing for the show while others were creative when chose the theme or the tune. They didn't have much time for preparing. Nevertheless, they succeed. Some of the pupils were proud to be on the stage and overcome the fear or uncertainty. The most surprising things were the results.All the time the contestants were enthusiastic to see what is going to happen in the end.
Many thanks to the Martynenko brother and sister. They were so keen on the event that asked their Mum to take on the role in the 'The Lion and the Mouse' play. They were superb!
I wish everyone much success. And a piece of advice ~ to reach anything it is necessary firstly to do something!

Let your thoughts come to life! Use verb forms and tenses correctly!
You may have the tables bellow at your fingertips to use the forms and tenses of the verbs correctly. To my mind, they are better organized and illustrate with examples better than others. They will be helpful till you are able to use automatically them with many different verbs. It needs patience and much practice from you. But the result is to make your fluency different. It isn't the only one thing to make you feel confident when speaking English but this is the starting point to bring your thoughts to life.
Ви можете мати таблиці нижче у вас під рукою, для правильного використання часовіх форм дієслів. На мій погляд, вони краще організовані і проілюстровують прикладами краще, ніж інші. Вони будуть корисні, поки ви не зможете автоматично використовувати їх з великою кількістю різних дієслів. Це потребує вашого терпіння і багато практики від вас. Але результат приведе ваше вільне володіння мовою на іншій рівень. Це не є одна єдина річ, щоб ви відчували себе впевнено, коли говорите по-англійськи, але це є відправною точкою, щоб привести свої думки до життя.
