Once upon a time in the jungle

 On Wednesday the pupils of the 2nd 3rd and 4th forms performed, somebody for the first time, Once upon a time in the jungle. They tried a lot and enjoyed being on the stage. We've learned that kindness and love are the values that the more you share them the more you get them back. 

The moral of the tale is: do good things and you'll be happy! Someone can be as good as you and return it to you later. And you don't need to receive it from the same person you gave it to. Sometimes you can be surprised and get friendliness from someone you never expected to. 

How to... Cootie Catchers!

          Cootie Catchers come by many names and yet are made by children ALL OVER THE WORLD. I have come across cootie catchers, fortune tellers, chatterbox, salt cellar, whirlybird, buffalo shakers, tipi tipi tap and paku-paku. We love this classic of all Paper Crafts and a must make in every childhood! There are so many Benefits of Origami – so come on, lets get stuck in and learn how to make a cootie catcher today!

To make your Cootie Catcher, you will need a square piece of paper. We generally cut it from an A4 sheet of paper, so measures approximately 20 x 20 cm.

Begin by folding the paper across the diagonal in both directions – so you get a cross shape (bottom left photo)

Bring each corner towards the middle/ inside and make a neat fold (picture 4 shows the first fold).

Once you have all four folds (top right) – use your thumbs to make neat creases. Flip your paper over.

You will see another “cross” running across you paper.

Again, bring each corner in and fold towards the middle (as per bottom right photo).

                           Now use it to have fun and play differet games in many ways!

Tuesday "the Choose Day"

 Many pupils inspire me! They are involved in all the activities and do their best. 

Many projects have begun and seem to be continued after this weekend! Every incredible thing takes time. But the desire to be kind, helpful, and friendly can't be limited in time. So, this is why we can continue and not have borders. We'll summarise what has been done. Then many things we should keep doing, shouldn't we?

As far as, this day has the generic "Choose Day" we've played "Choose the Kindness" game.

Here is the first act of kindness fulfilled and shown in the chart by coloring one heart from 100!

Another activity that we find handy for many classes. The 8th formers made the posters with letters K N D.

As you can see, on the posters are pictures that intend to check the vocabulary for these beginning sounds. 

"I" is intentionally missed.  For this letter may stand each pupil that wants to be KIND!

The little ones have colored them with enthusiasm!

We find time even to identify the burglars. The 5th graders played the game " Who is the burglar?" The instructor and leader a pupil from the 8th grade. 

And I was pleasingly surprised by my colleague, who was so kind to wear a T-shirt to inspire all of us pupils and me in this challenging week. A super T-shirt with London sightseeing places to be visited in the future!

Tomorrow, we're going to have a walk in the jungle and find out how it comes that giving love and kindness you have them many times more than before. It may make you feel happier and you don't have to expect to receive them from the people you gave. Sometimes they come from those that you didn't think would.

Some students want to write a book in Write Reader. They are engaged in this project.

 A short reminder! The topic of the book is " What color are the Kindness' eyes?"

Opening English Week Party

       Today I'm glad to know you all are eager to learn new things, participate and progress. It's a big deal to be ready instead of giving up to step forward and be closer to purpose fulfillment. 

     The opening English week party was organized by the 4th, 5th, and 8th-grade pupils. They had to decide if there are more or less important school subjects. Is English worthy to be studied and isn't it too boastful? And Mr. English had to prove to everyone that he's a good friend of each person who wants to perform and get success in the modern world. He did it in the Supreme Court. Were real Judges and advocates... In the end, we get acquainted with the projects for this week and all other activities. Everyone should decide for himself which one he will join. 

The project "Be I in KIND" and "100 acts of kindness" have just begun!

Tomorrow, Tuesday is the  "Choose Day"

We'll continue with motivational posters presentation. 

A game "Who is the burglar?" will be organized. You'll be able to role play and help the police officers to find and put in prison the burglar. This is for the 5th and 6th forms.

Another game "Choose the right thing" is predicted to be enjoyed by the 7th and 8th-grade pupils!

           You are going to write a book about your favorite character! You are not mistaken! Yes, You! It is possible to do this with Write Reader. The topic of your book will be "What is the KINDNESS eyes' color?"
